Can the cutting board go in the dishwasher?

No, wood and the dishwasher aren’t friends—it will warp and dry out the board. Just rinse with warm water and mild dish soap, then dry it well right away and stand it upright. That’s it, and it’ll stay looking great for years.

How do I maintain the shelves?

Wash both sides with warm water and a mild dish soap—don’t soak or submerge. Dry them thoroughly right away and stand them upright in the holder. For a stain or odor: coarse salt with lemon juice, or a mix of 25% natural vinegar and 75% water. Don’t use bleach or abrasive cleaners.

Why birchwood and not bamboo or plastic?

Bamboo is made from glued strips, which creates seams where bacteria can grow. Plastic sheds microplastics with every cut and gets damaged quickly. Our solid birch wood is made from a single piece, FSC-certified, and finished to be food-safe: safe and beautiful at the same time.

What sizes does it come in?

Three: small (27 x 18 cm) for quick chopping, medium (36 x 27 cm) for everyday cooking, and large (43 x 30 cm) for the heavy-duty jobs. Plus a wooden stand to store them upright and neatly.

Will the wood develop color differences or wear over time?

A bit of character comes with the territory—wood is, and always will be, a natural material. To keep it in top condition, rub it every now and then with a little food-safe oil. Stop using it if there are deep cracks or splinters.

How does returns and warranty work?
