That depends on the set you choose, so you decide which sizes you get. The sizes range from 320 ml for sauces and snacks to 1200 ml for oven bakes and family portions. The 5-piece set has the basic sizes, the 8-piece more of each, the 10-piece is two 5-piece sets, the 11-piece has all five sizes including the 1200 ml, the 16-piece is two 8-piece sets, and the Meal Prep set has eight identical 1000 ml containers. All containers are stackable, so they fit neatly in your fridge or kitchen cupboard.

The 1-liter container is available on its own: it’s listed separately in the shop for €24.95 and is identical to the 1-liter container in the sets. The other sizes (320, 520, 600, 800 and 1200 ml) are currently only available in the sets. Would you still like a specific size separately? Yes—and that’s exactly the difference. With most “glass” storage containers, the lid is still made of plastic. With Safecourt, the lid is also completely made of glass, finished with a PFAS-free silicone rim. So your food only touches glass and silicone—never plastic or a coating.

Yes. The glass lid has a PFAS-free silicone rim and a small tab. Press the tab down and it creates a vacuum, keeping the lid firmly in place: no leaks, even with soup or sauce in your bag. Pull the tab up and the vacuum releases, so the lid opens easily without force.

Sure. The containers can go straight into the freezer and are also completely dishwasher-safe—store, freeze, reheat, and wash everything in the same container. One tip for big temperature changes (freezer → oven): let the glass come to room temperature first to prevent thermal shock.

Yes. The borosilicate glass is oven-safe up to 200 °C and microwave-safe, even with the glass lid on, as long as the vacuum tab is open. So you can slide your meal straight from the fridge into the oven without transferring it. Tip: only press the tab closed once the container has cooled.

Yes. That’s condensation from the air that was in the container when you closed it, and it freezes against the cold glass. It doesn’t say anything about the seal. If you want less ice, let the food cool down first before putting the lid on.

Yes, the lids are flat, so with the lid on they simply stack on top of each other in the fridge. For the cupboard, stacking without the lid is smarter: containers of the same size then nest inside each other, and you place the lids loosely on top. That saves the most space.

Per container including glass lid: 320 ml weighs 330 grams, 520 ml 470 grams, 600 ml 535 grams, 800 ml 610 grams, 1000 ml 785 grams and 1200 ml 885 grams. So the 1000 ml container with your lunch in it is about a kilo in your bag. Complete sets: 5-piece 3.0 kg, 8-piece 5.6 kg, 11-piece 6.8 kg, Meal Prep 6.3 kg.

No. Where plastic containers discolor from tomato or curry and hold onto odors, borosilicate glass stays clear and odor-free. It doesn’t absorb color, smell, or taste — even after years of daily use and frequent washing.
