2020

How it started

The year it all started. As two best friends, we decided to make our dream come true. With a great passion for cooking, we were now equipped with the most diverse kitchen appliances. Yet we always had something to say about these in terms of functions or design. At the kitchen table - however typical - our dream became reality and we decided to register with the Chamber of Commerce. An exciting step as a 17 and 19 year old, but it felt good. This gave us so much energy! After days and nights of experimenting with different appliances in the kitchen, ideas emerged for not only one, but even multiple items. We decided to take the plunge and looked for an investor who could make our dream come true. The investor had been found, the first designs had been made and after a lot of feedback from our dear friends and family, we finally had our first designs in our hands. We launched our website and were soon allowed to commit to a partnership with bol.com. We soon noticed that it is not just about a beautiful website, but also the entire experience around it. A personal approach, great service and convenience in all facets of the word.

By incorporating this into our first marketing campaign, sales started flowing in. We couldn't believe our luck, we'll never forget that moment. Cycling to the post office every day became a regular part of our day, and suddenly we had a successful webshop.

2021

Falling and getting up

2021 was the year we bought our first truck, together we put all our well-earned catering savings together and decided to go for it. Our 3 kitchen items had made a big sprint and the stock became enormous! With the new stock we were able to send even more parcels throughout the Netherlands.

With a big growth, of course, there are also the necessary customer questions. We still remember how this went; calling, chatting and even facetime. For us it didn't matter how, as long as we could help the customer well. Service is the starting point for us and has been so important from the very beginning. We always want to maintain this personal approach.

2021 was also the year in which our webshop got an even bigger boost due to - yes - the corona crisis. Due to the enormous demand, we were given the opportunity to add new designs to our range and make our wish list a reality. With the help of students at the design school, our visions were designed.

With so many new products planned, our 'small webshop' suddenly became very serious and we grew into a professional brand.

2022

What do we stand for?

The year 2022 was a period of intense refinement and further professionalization for Safecourt Kitchen. The continuous wave of growth that we experienced, encouraged us to gather a solid and dedicated team. Thanks to this team, we were able to intensify our connection with customers and gather valuable feedback. This allowed us to take our products and services to the next level.

We have also been working hard to expand our product range. With a keen eye for our customers' needs, we have further diversified our product line so that we can continue to meet the changing demands and wishes of the modern kitchen.

Of course, there were challenges and obstacles along the way. We faced manufacturing defects, delivery delays, and even a two-month period without stock due to a late order. But every setback was an opportunity to learn and improve. We turned every mistake into a lesson, making us better and stronger every year.

The year 2022 has been an exciting chapter in our journey. With every step we take, we are anchoring ourselves more deeply in our mission to transform kitchen experiences. The future is bright for Safecourt Kitchen, and we look forward to the many adventures yet to come.

2023

Full time

2023 was marked by a major transformation: we started the year with a major rebranding that was rolled out for the rest of the year. We tackled the packaging and marketing to make a big step towards our ultimate goal: to become a professional and recognized brand. In August, we launched our new website as the icing on the cake, it quickly turned out to be a success, because sales through our own channel increased and are now ensuring sales successes outside of platforms such as Bol.com. In October, we visited our suppliers for the first time, the absolute highlight of 2023, during which our team visited inspiring trade fairs and entered into new partnerships. This trip was not only a business adventure, but also an invaluable opportunity to learn and grow. Back from the suppliers, the Safecourt Kitchen range was further expanded. With no fewer than 30 new items in the small kitchen appliances category, we ensure an extensive range with options for our customers. December was a festive month for Safecourt Kitchen, in which we collected more than 500 reviews on Trustpilot.

The average rating of 4.8 out of 5 stars reflects exactly what we want to stand for, unprecedented quality and customer focus. We closed the year with a record number of orders, an impressive 30,000 orders in total.

This unprecedented success confirmed the company's positive growth trend and promises an even more promising 2024.
