De keuken is waar je dag begint en waar je ontspant. Safecourt maakt producten (van melkopschuimers tot blenders, slowjuicers, pannen en bewaarbakken) met één doel: pretty easy én doordacht. Transparant over keuzes, gemaakt voor dagelijks gebruik, en elke generatie een stap beter.

We bouwen Safecourt op één simpele overtuiging: in de keuken wil je niet hoeven gokken. Dus doen wij het uitzoekwerk, leggen we keuzes uit in normale taal en verbeteren continu. Soms betekent dat ook: eerlijk zeggen wat nog in ontwikkeling is.

Hoe we naar materialen kijken

We volgen ontwikkelingen rondom materialen en coatings (zoals PFAS en andere veelbesproken stoffen), en gebruiken die inzichten om betere keuzes te maken. Soms zijn er duidelijke “no-go’s”, soms is het genuanceerder. Daarom communiceren we per product zo concreet mogelijk.

Repareren waar het kan

Als een product langer mee kan door een onderdeel te vervangen, dan doen we dat liever dan alles weggooien. Daarom bieden we waar mogelijk losse onderdelen aan.

Care-guides & tips die wél werken

Goed onderhoud maakt verschil. Daarom maken we korte, duidelijke care-guides en tips — geen lange handleidingen, wel praktische stappen. Zo blijft je product langer mooi en fijn in gebruik.

2020

How it started

What started as an idea at the kitchen table grew into a brand that pushes boundaries in the kitchen. Two friends, with a passion for cooking and innovation, noticed that existing kitchen appliances didn’t quite live up to their expectations. Functionality, design—it could be better.

With that mindset, we started experimenting, testing, and improving. No half measures—just pushing on until it was perfect. That led to our first product launch and a partnership with Bol.com. In no time, orders were flying out the door, and every day we’d be at the parcel drop-off point with a stack of packages.

But Safecourt is more than just products. We believe in a complete experience: top-quality appliances, personal service, and a community that inspires each other. Our goal? To make healthy living easier, more enjoyable, and more accessible. And this is only the beginning.

By weaving this into our first marketing campaign, sales came pouring in. We couldn’t believe our luck—we’ll truly never forget that moment. Cycling to the parcel drop-off point every day became a regular part of our routine; all of a sudden, we had a thriving online store.

2021

Ups and downs

2021 was the year we really scaled up. Our first truck became a reality, funded with our hard-earned hospitality savings. Our first three kitchen products sold like hotcakes, and our stock grew along with it. With that new inventory, we could ship even more orders across the Netherlands.

But growth also brings new challenges—especially when it comes to customer service. Whether it was through calling, chatting, or even FaceTime, we did everything we could to help every customer personally. Service was already number one back then, and it always will be.

On top of that, 2021 brought an unexpected opportunity: the COVID-19 crisis gave our webshop a huge boost. With demand rising, we were able to develop new designs and expand our product line. With the help of design students, our ideas became reality. What once was a small webshop quickly grew into a serious brand.

2022

What we stand for

2022 was a year of growth, refinement and professionalisation. Safecourt Kitchen made enormous progress, and that called for a strong team to carry our vision. Thanks to this expansion, we were able to stay even closer to our customers, gather feedback, and take our products to the next level.

We further expanded our range with products that truly match the needs of the modern kitchen. But growth also brings challenges. From manufacturing defects and delivery delays to a period of two months out of stock—every setback became a lesson. We learned, adapted, and came back stronger.

What once began as an idea at the kitchen table kept growing in 2022 into a brand that makes an impact. With every step we take, we continue to strengthen our mission: transforming kitchen experiences and making healthy living easier.

2023

Full-time

2023 was all about major changes. We kicked things off with a major rebrand, taking our packaging and marketing to the next level. In August, we launched our new website, which immediately drove more sales through our own channel. This was an important step towards becoming less dependent on platforms like Bol.com.

In October, we visited our suppliers for the first time. This was not only a business highlight, but also an opportunity to form new partnerships and sharpen our vision even further. Back in the Netherlands, we expanded our range with 30 new products in small kitchen appliances, giving our customers even more choice.

December was a month full of milestones. We reached 500+ Trustpilot reviews with an average score of 4.8 out of 5 stars, confirming our focus on quality and customer focus. We ended the year with a record 30,000 orders, proving Safecourt Kitchen is ready for an even bigger 2024.

2024

Safecourt office

2024 is the year Safecourt Kitchen found a new home—both literally and figuratively. With the opening of our own head office in the heart of Amsterdam, we’re taking a major step forward in our mission to make healthy living easier and more accessible.

This space is more than an office—it’s the beating heart of our brand. Everything comes together here: product development, branding, and community building. From brainstorming sessions to creating content that motivates and inspires, this is where we bring our vision to life.

With a strong team around us, we continue building our growing community and working on new products that fit perfectly with an active and healthy lifestyle. We’re not just a brand—we’re a movement, driven by the belief that everyone can get the best out of themselves.

This new chapter means more impact, more innovation, and even bigger ambitions. We’re ready to push boundaries—together with our community.
