We make healthy cooking safe and simple, with non-toxic kitchen appliances free from PFAS, Teflon, and microplastics. This way, we create a new standard for kitchens throughout Europe.

Vision

We want to be the European market leader in safe, chemical-free kitchen appliances and utensils within five years. While regulations and awareness are changing rapidly, we are taking the lead by already producing completely PFAS- and Teflon-free. Our ambition: that all of Europe will soon cook with healthy, certified products that do not contaminate food. Safecourt will become the one-stop shop for everyone who wants to cook consciously and without toxins.

Gezond koken begint bij veilige, duurzame producten. Wij ontwikkelen keukenapparatuur zonder PFAS, Teflon of microplastics — ontworpen om jarenlang mee te gaan. Mooi, betrouwbaar en gemaakt van materialen waar je op kunt vertrouwen.

Safecourt begon met een simpele vraag: kan het eerlijker, gezonder en beter? We kozen voor glas i.p.v. coatings, RVS i.p.v. twijfel, en onderdelen die je kunt vervangen i.p.v. weggooien. Onze producten voelen misschien simpel — de kracht zit ’m in de details.

PFAS meetbaar bij (vrijwel) iedereen

In Nederland zijn in recente bloedonderzoeken bij nagenoeg alle mensen PFAS gevonden. Dat vraagt om bewuste keuzes in huis.

~14% boven EU-richtwaarden

In Europese bevolkingsstudies zit een aanzienlijk deel boven indicatieve gezondheidswaarden. Minder blootstelling is dus zinvol.

Non-stick = vaak PTFE

Het grootste deel van anti-aanbak pannen wereldwijd heeft nog steeds een PTFE-(Teflon)laag. Wij kiezen bewust voor alternatieven.

Borosilicaatglas, RVS en food-grade siliconen. Robuust, smaakneutraal en bewezen veilig — ook bij dagelijks gebruik.

Onze materiaalkeuzes

We kiezen voor borosilicaatglas (hitte- en kou-bestendig), RVS en food-grade siliconen. Waar een laag nodig is (bij pannen), kiezen we veilige keramische alternatieven — zonder PFAS of Teflon.

Repareren boven vervangen

Losse onderdelen bestel je eenvoudig via extra onderdelen. Zo verlengen we de levensduur, beperken we afval en bespaar jij kosten.

Onze belofte

Veilig, transparant en gemaakt om lang mee te gaan. Elektrische apparaten: 2 jaar garantie. Cookware: 2 jaar op de keramische laag & 5 jaar op panstructuur. Onderdelen blijven beschikbaar zolang het product in ons assortiment zit.

Safecourt wordt gebouwd door een jong, betrokken team in Amsterdam. We ontwerpen alsof het voor onze eigen gezinnen is. Want als het niet veilig en duurzaam genoeg is voor onszelf, dan komt het niet in jouw keuken.

2020

How it started

What started as an idea at the kitchen table grew into a brand that pushes boundaries in the kitchen. Two friends, with a passion for cooking and innovation, noticed that existing kitchen appliances just didn't meet their expectations. Functionality, design—it could be better.

With that mindset, we started experimenting, testing, and improving. No half measures, but persevering until it was perfect. That led us to our first product launch and a partnership with Bol.com. In no time, orders were flying out the door and every day we stood at the post point with a stack of packages.

But Safecourt is more than just products. We believe in a complete experience: top-quality equipment, personal service, and a community that inspires each other. Our goal? To make healthy living easier, more fun, and more accessible. And this is just the beginning.

By incorporating this into our first marketing campaign, sales started pouring in. We couldn't believe our luck; we will never forget that moment. Riding the bike to the post office every day became a fixed part of our routine, and suddenly we had a thriving webshop.

2021

Falling and getting up

2021 was the year in which we really scaled up. Our first truck became a reality, financed with our hard-earned hospitality savings. Our first three kitchen items sold like hotcakes and the stock grew along with it. With that new stock, we could send even more orders throughout the Netherlands.

But growth also brings new challenges—especially in the area of customer service. Whether it was via calling, chatting, or even Facetime, we did everything to help every customer personally. Service was already number one then, and it will always remain so.

Additionally, 2021 brought an unexpected opportunity: the corona crisis gave our webshop a huge boost. Due to the rising demand, we could develop new designs and expand our product line. With the help of design students, our ideas became reality. What was once a small webshop quickly grew into a serious brand.

2022

What do we stand for

2022 stood for growth, refinement and professionalization. Safecourt Kitchen underwent enormous development, and that required a strong team that could carry our vision. Thanks to this expansion, we were able to be even closer to our customers, gather feedback and take our products to a higher level.

We further expanded our range with products that truly meet the needs of the modern kitchen. But growth also brings challenges. From factory defects and delivery delays to a period of two months without stock—every setback became a lesson. We learned, adapted and came back stronger.

What once started as an idea at the kitchen table, grew further in 2022 into a brand that makes an impact. With every step we take, we continue to strengthen our mission: transforming kitchen experiences and making healthy living easier.

2023

Full time

2023 was marked by major changes. We started with a significant rebranding, elevating our packaging and marketing to a higher level. In August, we launched our new website, which immediately led to more sales through our own channel. This was an important step towards less dependence on platforms like Bol.com.

In October, we visited our suppliers for the first time. This was not only a business highlight but also an opportunity to establish new partnerships and further refine our vision. Back in the Netherlands, we expanded our assortment with 30 new products within small kitchen appliances, offering our customers even more choice.

December was a month full of milestones. We achieved 500+ Trustpilot reviews with an average score of 4.8 out of 5 stars, a confirmation of our focus on quality and customer orientation. We closed the year with a record of 30,000 orders, proof that Safecourt Kitchen is ready for an even bigger 2024.

2024

Safecourt office

2024 is the year in which Safecourt Kitchen literally and figuratively found a new home base. With the opening of our own headquarters in the heart of Amsterdam, we take a huge step in our mission to make healthy living easier and more accessible.

This space is more than an office—it is the beating heart of our brand. Here everything comes together: product development, branding, and community-building. From brainstorming sessions to creating content that motivates and inspires, this is the place where we bring our vision to life.

With a strong team around us, we continue to build our growing community and work on new products that perfectly fit an active and healthy lifestyle. We are not just a brand, but a movement, driven by the belief that everyone can get the most out of themselves.

This new chapter means more impact, more innovation, and even greater ambitions. We are ready to push boundaries, together with our community.
