Glass storage jars

With almost every airtight storage jar, the jar is glass and the lid is plastic. So your food still touches plastic, right where the jar is sealed. With this set, the lid is glass too. Only the seal is silicone, and it’s free from PFAS, BPA and microplastics.

Five jars in three sizes, 7.4 litres in total. Rice, pasta, flour, nuts, muesli and coffee all get their own place, so you can see at a glance what you still have and what’s run out. The True Airtight Seal seals every jar airtight. That keeps air and moisture out, so dry goods stay dry, and it makes the jar much less attractive to pests that go for flour and grains.

Borosilicate glass doesn’t absorb odours, grease or colour. A jar that held curry last month is simply an empty jar again after one wash. That’s what sets it apart from plastic storage canisters, which turn cloudy, discolour and keep smelling of whatever was in them last.

The jars aren’t just for the pantry. With the lid on, they can go in the fridge and freezer. Without the lid, the glass jar can go in the microwave and the oven up to 230 degrees. Afterwards, jar, lid and silicone seal simply go in the dishwasher.

All three sizes have the same square 12 by 12 cm base; only the height differs. So they stand neatly side by side and you don’t lose a centimetre of shelf space to round jars rolling against each other.

Please note: not suitable for the oven’s grill setting or open flames. Don’t put a jar straight from the freezer into a hot oven or microwave; let frozen contents defrost first. That way you prevent thermal shock.

Before first use, give the jars a quick rinse with warm water and washing-up liquid, and dry them with a soft tea towel. That removes any residue from the production and transport process.

After that, care is simple. Jar, glass lid and silicone seal can all go in the dishwasher on a normal programme. By hand is fine too: residue rinses straight off the smooth glass and nothing stays baked on.

Don’t use metal scourers or sharp cutlery in the jar. Glass is easy to clean and doesn’t need them, and avoiding them keeps the jars clear.

After the oven or microwave, let a jar cool completely before putting the lid on or running cold water over it. A big temperature difference can crack glass.

Store the jars with the lid off until everything is completely dry. That keeps the silicone seal supple and the jar sealing airtight.

Service & warranty

You get a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase. If there’s a manufacturing or material defect, we’ll sort it out quickly and free of charge, without any hassle.

The warranty doesn’t cover breakage, damage from drops or knocks, thermal shock (for example a hot jar on a cold surface or straight from freezer to oven), scratches and normal signs of use, discolouration of the silicone seal through use, use that differs from the manual, or business or professional use.
