Help & frequently asked questions

How can we help you?

Quickly find answers to your questions about ordering, delivery, returns and warranty, about using your Safecourt products, and about the safety of our materials.

Most asked

Run through these steps:

  1. Is the whisk firmly on the pin and does it spin freely?
  2. Is the jug sitting properly on the base? Are the contact points under the jug and on the base clean and dry?
  3. Unplug it for a minute and try a different socket.
  4. Let it cool. After 4 rounds in a row, your milk frother needs a 30-minute rest.

Still not working? Email us at info@safecourtkitchen.com with your order number and a short video. We’ll sort it out.

Unplug it. This can happen when moisture has got into the motor section over time. That isn’t something you can fix yourself. Email us at info@safecourtkitchen.com with your order number and a short video, and we’ll take it from there.

That’s the error signal. Your milk frother stops because there’s no milk in the jug, the jug isn’t sitting properly on the base, or because it has got too hot. Unplug it, let it cool, check the jug and try again. Does it keep happening? Email us at info@safecourtkitchen.com with a short video.

  • Use milk cold from the fridge. Whole milk (more than 3% fat) or a barista version gives the best foam. Plant-based milk works too.
  • Fill the jug between the min and max lines.
  • Check that the whisk is firmly attached and clean.
  • Choose the right setting: thick foam, thin foam or cold foam.

Still not working? Email us at info@safecourtkitchen.com with a short video.

No. Breakage from knocks, drops or thermal shock isn’t covered by the warranty. You can order a spare glass jug for the Crystal (MF500) or the Digital (MF700). It comes with a new whisk, spring and lid.

That depends on the shipping option you chose:

  • Express (Netherlands and Belgium): order before 23:59 on a working day, delivered tomorrow (not on Sundays).
  • Eco (free): your parcel usually arrives within 2–3 working days.

As soon as your parcel is on its way, you’ll get an email with track & trace. You can also follow your order on our order status page.

First check with your neighbours, your letterbox and the nearby pick-up point. Still nothing after 5 days? Email us at info@safecourtkitchen.com with your order number and we’ll look into it.

Email info@safecourtkitchen.com with:

  • your order number
  • a short video or photo showing the problem

We need both to handle your report. If it’s covered by the warranty, we’ll send a new product within 1–2 working days, with track & trace. You don’t need to send your old appliance back: hand it in as e-waste.

You have 60 days after receipt. Register your return via our returns portal and choose Safecourt store credit (free return label and 10% extra) or a refund (€5.95 return costs). After the first 14 days, the product must be unused, complete and in its original packaging. Read the conditions under Returns.

Within 14 days of registering your return. In practice, we refund within 7 working days of receiving it. Paid with Klarna? Then we’ll let Klarna know you no longer owe us anything.

Sorry about that. Email us at info@safecourtkitchen.com within 3 working days of receipt with your order number and a photo, and we’ll send a new one.

Check that the blade unit is screwed firmly onto the cup and that the sealing ring is sitting properly in the blade unit. Still leaking? Email us at info@safecourtkitchen.com with your order number and a short video.

That’s right. The PurePress Pro comes with two strainers: a grey one for juice and an orange one for sorbet. Is something still missing? Email us at info@safecourtkitchen.com with your order number and a photo of what you received.

Definitely. A milk frother, a pan set or a glass food storage set is a gift that gets used every day. We don’t have gift cards.

Yes, from 25 units. See Business & contact.

Because it doesn’t just matter what you cook, but also what you cook it with. Many pans and kitchen appliances still contain PFAS or have a non-stick coating that your food comes into contact with. We wanted to show it can be done differently: safe, practical and beautiful.

We’ve already shipped more than 100,000 orders.

On Trustpilot, customers give us an average of 4.6 out of 5, based on more than 8,000 reviews.

Yes. We first test new products with a customer test panel, who use them at home and give us feedback. Only then do they go on sale.

The Milk Frother Crystal (MF500): a glass milk frother with 5 functions, where your milk only touches glass and stainless steel.

Choosing a milk frother

  • You mainly want cappuccino and latte, and like to keep it simple: the Crystal (MF500).
  • You want to do a lot, including plant-based milk and baby milk: the Digital glass milk frother (MF700).
  • You want large portions of hot milk or hot chocolate, in a sturdy stainless steel jug: the Milk Frother Pro Multifunctional (MF400).
Pro Multifunctional (MF400) Crystal (MF500) Digital glass (MF700)
Jug Stainless steel glass glass
Power 550 W 600 W 600 W
Functions 4 5 7
Max. foam 200 ml 150 ml 250 ml
Max. heating 400 ml 250 ml 400 ml
Cold foam yes yes yes
Plant-based milk setting no no yes
Baby milk setting (37 °C) no no yes

In a glass jug, you can see exactly what’s happening and how thick your foam gets. Glass doesn’t give off any taste and is easy to keep clean. The jug can go in the dishwasher.

With an induction milk frother, the base heats the stainless steel jug by induction. That heats the milk quickly and evenly. The Milk Frother Pro Multifunctional works this way.

For home use, it’s often easier. You pour in the milk, press one button and get the same result every time, without practice. It heats and froths at the same time, and switches off by itself.

The Digital glass milk frother (MF700). It has a separate setting for plant-based milk. With a barista version, you get the best foam with all models.

The Digital glass milk frother (MF700) has a baby milk setting that brings milk to about 37 °C within 2 minutes. Always check the temperature yourself before giving your child the bottle.

All three have a chocolate setting. Want large mugs for the whole family? Then the MF400 and the MF700 are handy, with up to 400 ml.

Yes, all three have a cold foam setting.

With 150 to 250 ml of foam, you have enough for 1 to 3 cappuccinos, depending on the model and your cups.

Around 65 °C, and around 75 °C for hot chocolate. That’s warm enough for coffee, without the milk burning or the foam collapsing.

Yes. Pour in the milk and add the powder the way you add chocolate.

No. The glass jugs of the Crystal and the Digital can go in the dishwasher. With the MF400, the jug can go in; wash the whisk and lid by hand.

Cold whole milk with more than 3% fat, or a barista version of plant-based milk.

Yes. For the Crystal and the Digital, you can buy a spare glass jug, with whisk, spring and lid included. The whisk is also sold separately.

Many years with normal use according to the manual. You have a 2-year warranty.

Choose hot thick foam. All three models have it.

Choose hot thin foam. The Crystal and the Digital have it.

Many milk frothers have a non-stick coating on the bottom of the jug. The glass jugs of the Crystal and the Digital don’t: your milk only comes into contact with glass and stainless steel.

The Milk Frother Pro Multifunctional (MF400) or the Digital glass milk frother (MF700). With those, you can heat up to 400 ml of milk at once.

Black (Onyx), beige, blue and pink.

Enough foam for 1 to 3 cappuccinos at once, without it overflowing.

The Digital glass milk frother is quiet: you mainly hear a soft hum. Ideal when the rest of the house is still asleep.

Thick foam is airy and firm, perfect for a cappuccino. Thin foam is finer and creamier, perfect for a latte or flat white.

Choosing pans

  • You cook gently and don’t want anything to stick: ceramic.
  • You want non-stick but also want to use metal utensils: hybrid.
  • You want a pan that sears well and lasts a very long time: 5-ply stainless steel.

Both have a non-stick coating without PFAS. The hybrid pan has a stainless steel pattern in that coating. That means you can use metal utensils in it and it can go in the dishwasher. The ceramic pan is more delicate, but very smooth.

A pan made of five layers of metal, with a core that spreads heat well and stainless steel on the outside. There’s no coating that can wear off.

Teflon (PTFE) belongs to the PFAS group. Our ceramic pans have a non-stick coating without PFAS and without Teflon.

That no PFAS have been used in the non-stick coating. Many traditional non-stick pans do contain them.

Yes, all our pans work on induction, gas, ceramic and electric hobs.

Yes, without the lids. Ceramic pans can go up to 220 °C, hybrid pans up to 260 °C and stainless steel pans up to 230 °C.

The hybrid pan: it can go in the dishwasher. You wash ceramic pans by hand, but thanks to the smooth coating, you’re usually done within a minute.

A ceramic or hybrid pan. Nothing sticks, with just a little oil or butter.

A stainless steel pan. You can get it really hot for a lovely crust.

That depends on how you use it. Do you cook on a low to medium heat, with wood or silicone, and wash it by hand? Then it lasts much longer. High heat and cooking spray are the biggest culprits.

Ceramic holds heat very well, so high heat isn’t needed. On a high heat, the non-stick coating gets damaged.

  • Ceramic: a 7-piece pan set, frying pans of 20, 24 and 28 cm (as a set or separately) and a 30 cm wok.
  • Hybrid: a 7-piece pan set, frying pans of 20, 24 and 28 cm, and a single 24 cm frying pan.
  • Stainless steel: a 7-piece pan set, frying pans of 20, 24 and 28 cm, and a single 24 cm frying pan.

The same for ceramic, hybrid and stainless steel: a 24 cm casserole, a 26 cm sauté pan and a 16 cm saucepan, each with a glass lid, plus a 24 cm frying pan. Together that’s 7 pieces.

The ceramic 7-piece set, the three frying pans (20, 24 and 28 cm) and the 30 cm wok together. That’s 8 pans and 3 glass lids.

They have an aluminium core that heats up quickly and evenly, a stainless steel base that works on every hob, and a ceramic non-stick coating without PFAS, PFOA and PTFE.

  • Frying pan: frying and stir-frying, from eggs to meat.
  • Sauté pan: frying and then braising, with a high rim against splashes.
  • Casserole: soup, stew and pasta.
  • Saucepan: sauces, vegetables and small portions.
  • Wok: fast stir-frying, with a rounded shape.

20 cm for 1 person or an egg, 24 cm for 2 to 3 people, 28 cm for a family or large portions.

With a set, you have the basics in one go, and it usually works out cheaper than separate pans. Want to try first? Then start with one frying pan.

On the hob, they stay cool with normal use. In the oven, they get hot.

Yes, if you use the pan properly: preheat gently, a little oil, a low to medium heat.

Look at what the manufacturer says about the coating. ‘PFOA-free’ doesn’t automatically mean PFAS-free: PFOA is just one of many PFAS.

Stainless steel is one of the most widely used materials in professional kitchens. There’s no coating that can wear off.

Yes, the casserole, sauté pan and saucepan from the 7-piece set come with a glass lid. So you can see what’s happening without lifting the lid.

With a 24 cm frying pan and a sauté pan. With those, you can make almost anything: frying, stir-frying, braising and sauces.

In the rounded shape of a wok, you can stir-fry quickly with little oil, and keep vegetables crunchy. Our wok is 30 cm.

Choosing slow juicers & blenders

A slow juicer presses fruit and vegetables slowly with an auger. A centrifugal juicer grinds everything at high speed. A slow juicer is quieter and gets more juice out of leafy greens.

Want fresh juice now and then? Then the PurePress (SL-500) is enough. Do you juice a lot or want to make sorbet too? Then choose the PurePress Pro (SL-600): more powerful, can be used for longer in one go and comes with a sorbet strainer.

Yes, with the PurePress Pro and the orange sorbet strainer. You make it from frozen fruit, without added sugar.

Almost everything: apple, pear, carrot, orange, ginger, celery, leafy greens and berries. Remove stones and hard peels. Sugar cane won’t work.

All parts that come into contact with your food are made of BPA-free Tritan and stainless steel.

It’s quick if you rinse it straight after use. A small brush is included for the strainer, and all parts except the motor unit can go in the dishwasher.

Smoothies, shakes, protein shakes and drinks with ice or frozen fruit. You blend straight in the cup and take it with you with the to-go lid.

No, it’s made for cold ingredients and ingredients at room temperature. For soup, you can use the hand blender.

A 700 ml cup and a 300 ml cup, made of BPA-free Tritan, with a closed lid and a to-go lid.

1000 W, with stainless steel blades. Strong enough for ice, frozen fruit and nuts.

Want clear juice without fibre? Choose a slow juicer. Want a smoothie with all the fibre in it? Choose a blender.

Yes. Blend soaked nuts with water and strain it afterwards if you want it extra smooth.

Within a minute.

About 50 revolutions per minute. So slowly that it’s quiet, and the pulp stays nice and dry: more juice is left for you.

The PurePress in blue, pink, beige and black. The PurePress Pro in black and beige.

Blue, pink, beige and black.

Yes, the blade set and the to-go sports cup are sold separately.

Cut your fruit and vegetables into pieces of no more than 3 cm. That way it presses best and doesn’t get blocked.

Choosing the PowerOven & air fryer

The PowerOven is an air fryer and oven in one. You can air fry chips and snacks in it, but also bake, roast, grill, toast and reheat.

The PowerOven 6-in-1 is 12 litres and ideal if you cook for 1 to 2 people. You operate it with simple dials.

For 1 to 2 people, often yes: small oven bakes, chicken, vegetables, pizza and leftovers. For a family or large roasts, a regular oven is still handier.

The PowerOven 6-in-1 is 12 litres: ideal for 1 to 2 people.

You can watch through the window, you have more space and you can do much more than just air fry.

It’s smaller and so heats up faster. That means it uses less energy than a large oven for most dishes.

The parts that come into contact with your food are BPA-free and PFAS-free.

A wire rack, an air fryer basket, a baking tray and a crumb tray. Every PowerOven also comes with a free food storage box.

Yes. Use Bake at 200 °C, 8 to 12 minutes, on the wire rack.

You can hear the fan with Air Fry and Reheat. With the other functions, it’s off.

Yes. You pull out the crumb tray, and wash the accessories in warm soapy water.

Beige, blue, pink and black.

From 80 to 230 °C, with a timer of up to 60 minutes.

Yes. Make frozen chips on Air Fry, 200 °C, in 15 to 20 minutes. Fresh chips are tastier with a little oil: toss them in it, don’t use cooking spray.

Yes, with the Bake setting. Preheat the oven for 3 to 5 minutes.

Choosing food storage & bakeware

Glass doesn’t absorb odours or colours and doesn’t release anything into your food. You can use the container in the oven, microwave, freezer and dishwasher.

Yes. Take the lid off for the oven or microwave, and let the container defrost first if it comes out of the freezer.

The lids have a sealing ring, so your food stays fresh.

Set Contents
Food storage box solo 1 × 1000 ml (19.8 × 14.8 × 6.8 cm)
8-piece 2 × 1000, 2 × 800, 2 × 600, 1 × 520, 1 × 320 ml
10-piece 4 × 1000, 2 × 800, 2 × 600, 2 × 320 ml

There’s also a 5-piece set and an 8-piece meal prep set.

Borosilicate glass, for the lids too. That glass handles temperature changes better than ordinary glass. The sealing rim is silicone without PFAS and BPA.

A set of 5 glass jars with glass lids: 2 × 850 ml, 2 × 1600 ml and 1 × 2500 ml, 7.4 litres in total. All the jars have a square 12 × 12 cm base, so they fit neatly side by side. Handy for pasta, rice, oats and coffee beans.

A complete set for your whole store cupboard: the 11-piece and the 8-piece food storage sets plus the 5 storage jars. Together, 19 containers and 5 jars.

Yes. You cook for several days in one go, store everything in the fridge or freezer and reheat it in the same container.

0.8 mm thick aluminised steel with a ceramic non-stick coating by Whitford. That coating is free from PFAS, PTFE, PFOA, BPA, lead and cadmium.

Up to 288 °C, in the oven only.

Cork trivets and storage caddies, so you can stack the tins neatly.

  • Fun Baking Set (3-piece): a loaf tin, a round cake tin and a muffin tin for 12 muffins.
  • Oven Dish Set (2-piece): a square dish of 24.5 × 24.5 × 5.5 cm (about 3.3 litres) and a rectangular one of 34.6 × 24.5 × 5.5 cm (about 4.6 litres).
  • Baking Tray Set (3-piece): a large baking tray of 38.8 × 27.8 × 2.5 cm, a small one of 32.6 × 22.7 × 2.5 cm and a 304 stainless steel cooling rack that fits on the large tray.
  • Complete Bakeware Set (8-piece): all three sets together.

Yes, they’re stackable, so they’re easy to put away.

Not necessarily: the non-stick coating does the work. Baking paper is fine to use, though.

Choosing other products

Green tea is best at 75 to 85 °C, coffee at 95 °C and baby formula with lukewarm water. With 40, 75, 85, 95 and 100 °C, you choose the right temperature for each drink.

Purée soup, make sauces and smoothies, whip cream and egg whites, froth milk and chop herbs, nuts or onions. With 12 speeds and a turbo setting.

A contact grill can do more: toasties and paninis, but also meat, fish and vegetables. Fold it fully open and you have a table grill.

The Compact Grill (silver or black Onyx) is great for toasties and small portions and folds open 180° into a table grill. The Contact Grill Original (2000 W) has room for four toasties at once and five height settings. With both, you can take the plates out and put them in the dishwasher.

Freshly ground beans give more flavour than pre-ground coffee. With the timer dial on the Coffee Grinder Pro, you decide how fine you grind.

Up to 80 grams of beans.

Wood is gentle on your knives and, well looked after, lasts a very long time. With a little mineral oil each month, your board stays beautiful.

Wood doesn’t scratch your pans and is already pre-treated. You don’t need to oil it.

Wood, silicone or plastic. Our wooden utensils are perfect for that.

A ceramic or hybrid frying pan, a stainless steel pan, a glass food storage set, wooden utensils and a cutting board. That gives you the basics, without PFAS.

Yes. You set the grind from fine for espresso to coarse for a French press. You can grind enough for up to 10 cups.

Yes, dry spices such as pepper, cumin and cinnamon.

No, bundles are fixed sets.

Materials & health

A large group of man-made substances that hardly break down. That’s why they’re also called ‘forever chemicals’. They’re found in many traditional non-stick coatings, among other places.

PFAS is the whole group of substances. PFOA and PTFE (Teflon) both belong to it. So a pan that’s ‘PFOA-free’ can still contain PTFE.

BPA (bisphenol A) is a substance found in some plastics. Our plastic parts that come into contact with food are made of BPA-free Tritan.

A strong, clear plastic without BPA. It’s widely used for blender cups and drinking bottles, because it doesn’t break easily.

That wherever we can, we choose materials that don’t release plastic into your food: glass, stainless steel, ceramic and wood.

Both are sturdy and easy to keep clean, and they don’t give off any taste.

Our materials are food-safe, so also suitable for your children’s food. Electrical appliances are not intended to be used by young children.

Yes, on every product page and in the manual.

We make products that last, with a 2-year warranty. We keep paper to a minimum: manuals are online. Hand in old electrical appliances as e-waste.

Good alternatives to PFAS are more expensive to make. We keep the price as fair as possible.

Warranty & reporting a defect

2 years from your date of purchase, or up to 5 years on selected products. The product page shows which applies. If you receive a replacement product, the original date still applies. You also always have your statutory rights.

Under warranty, you always get a replacement product. If your model is no longer available, we’ll send an equivalent model.

Defects that occur with normal household use according to the manual, within the warranty period. Normal wear isn’t covered.

  • normal wear, such as the non-stick effect of a ceramic coating slowly decreasing over time
  • use that goes against the manual, such as a ceramic pan on a high heat or hot liquid in the blender
  • damage from drops or knocks
  • glass breakage from thermal shock
  • cosmetic discolouration
  • damage caused by working on the product yourself or having it repaired
  • damage from overheating, for example by running an appliance for longer than the manual says
  • damage from the wrong socket, an extension lead or parts that aren’t ours

Your order number and a short video or photo of the problem. Without these two, we can’t handle your report. Email them to info@safecourtkitchen.com. Mention the model too, if you know it.

Send a download link instead, for example via WeTransfer or Google Drive. Or make the video shorter: 10 to 20 seconds is enough.

Your order number is enough. Don’t remember it? Then send your name and the email address you ordered with to info@safecourtkitchen.com.

No. Hand it in as e-waste, for example at a recycling centre or a shop with a collection point for electronics. Don’t throw it out with household waste.

After approval, we ship it within 1–2 working days. You’ll get an email with track & trace.

The same warranty applies. See the section ‘Bought via bol, MediaMarkt or another shop’ at the bottom.

Max. heating 400 ml 250 ml 400 ml
Extra large portions of hot chocolate cold foam, hot chocolate plant-based milk setting, baby milk setting (37 °C)
Spare jug available no yes yes

Put the jug on the base and fill it between min and max. When switched on, it’s set to hot thick foam. Press the button to go to the next function:

Function Max. milk Time Temperature
Hot thick foam 150 ml approx. 2 min approx. 65 °C
Hot thin foam 150 ml up to 5 min approx. 65 °C
Cold foam 150 ml up to 5 min cold
Heating 250 ml up to 7 min approx. 65 °C
Hot chocolate 250 ml up to 7 min approx. 75 °C

A white light means a warm function; blue means cold foam. Done? The light flashes and you hear 5 beeps. If you do nothing for 30 seconds, it goes into standby.

Press and hold the button to switch it on. Press briefly a few times to choose a programme. When you let go of the button, the programme starts after 3 seconds. Want to stop earlier? Press once briefly.

Programme Max. milk Temperature
Hot thick foam 250 ml approx. 65 °C
Hot thin foam 250 ml approx. 65 °C
Heating 400 ml approx. 65 °C
Plant-based milk 250 ml approx. 65 °C
Cold foam 250 ml cold, approx. 2 min
Chocolate 400 ml approx. 75 °C
Baby milk 250 ml approx. 37 °C, within 2 min

Put the whisk on the spindle in the jug, pour in the milk and put the jug on the base. Make sure the bottom of the jug is dry. Then press the button: the number of presses sets the function. After two flashes, it starts. Done? It beeps for 1 second.

Presses Function Milk Temperature
1x Hot foam 120–200 ml 60–70 °C
2x Hot milk 120–400 ml 60–70 °C
3x Hot chocolate up to 400 ml + 30 g chocolate 70–80 °C
4x Cold foam up to 200 ml cold, approx. 2 min
  • E1: the whisk isn’t in the jug, the jug isn’t sitting properly on the base, there’s too little milk in it (less than 120 ml), or the jug was removed while it was running.
  • E2 or E3: the voltage is too low or too high. Try a different socket, without an extension lead.
  • E4: it’s too hot. Let it cool and check that the ventilation hole at the back is clear.
  • E5 t/m E7: something is faulty. Email us at info@safecourtkitchen.com with your order number and a photo of the code.

Always between the min and max lines. Below or above them, you won’t get a good result, and too much milk can splash out.

Cold whole milk (more than 3% fat) or a barista version. Semi-skimmed milk froths less firmly. It can’t froth frozen milk.

Yes. For the firmest foam, we recommend a barista version, cold from the fridge. The MF700 has its own setting for it.

Yes. For hot chocolate: pour in the milk, start the chocolate setting and then add up to 10% chocolate. Close the lid again straight away.

About 65 °C. With the chocolate setting, about 75 °C. Nice and warm, but not so hot that the foam collapses.

After 4 rounds in a row, your milk frother needs 30 minutes to cool down. That applies to all models. On the MF700, the heating is then temporarily blocked. Cold foam is still possible in the meantime.

  • 1 beep: button pressed.
  • Light flashes + 5 beeps: done.
  • All lights flash quickly + 5 quick beeps: fault. There’s no milk in the jug, the jug isn’t sitting properly on the base, or it has got too hot. Unplug it, let it cool and try again.

Better not: the milk can splash and be hot. Wait until it’s done.

On a stable, flat and heat-resistant surface, not on polished wood. Use an earthed socket and no extension lead.

With the Crystal and the Digital, the glass jug and lid can go in. With the Milk Frother Pro Multifunctional, only the stainless steel jug: wash the whisk and lid by hand. The base of any model must never go in the dishwasher or under water: wipe it with a damp cloth.

Rinse the jug and whisk straight after use. Use a soft cloth or sponge, not a hard brush or steel wool: they scratch.

With citric acid. Vinegar works too, but we recommend citric acid.

Yes, that does no harm. That water doesn’t come into contact with your milk. Want to know more? Feel free to email us at info@safecourtkitchen.com.

That can happen the first few times you use it. After a few uses, the smell should be gone. Still smell it after that? Email us at info@safecourtkitchen.com.

Check the manual to see what the code means. Don’t have it to hand, or doesn’t that solve it? Email us at info@safecourtkitchen.com with your order number and a photo of the code.

The whisk is small, so keep it safe when it’s loose. For the Crystal (MF500) and the Digital (MF700), you can order a spare whisk .

Yes, for the Crystal (MF500) and the Digital glass milk frother (MF700). Whisk, spring and lid are included.

The glass jugs of the Crystal (MF500) and the Digital (MF700) fit each other’s base. The Milk Frother Pro Multifunctional has its own stainless steel jug.

PureBlend blender

The motor base (1000 W), a 700 ml cup, a 300 ml cup, a stainless steel blade unit, a closed lid and a to-go lid. The cups are made of BPA-free Tritan.

  1. Fill the cup up to the MAX line at most, with at least a quarter liquid.
  2. Screw the blade unit firmly onto the cup.
  3. Put the cup upside down on the base and turn it clockwise until you hear a click.
  4. Choose Blend for continuous blending (up to 60 seconds) or Pulse for short bursts.
  5. Wait until the blades have stopped before removing the cup.

No more than 1 minute at a time. Then let it rest for 2 minutes.

Yes, if you add enough liquid.

No. Only use ingredients at room temperature or colder. Hot liquid puts pressure on the cup. Fizzy drinks, yeast and raising agents don’t belong in it either.

Check that the cup is sitting properly on the base and is fully clicked into place. Has it been running for a long time? Switch it off, unplug it and let it cool. Does it still smell burnt afterwards or won’t it start any more? Email us at info@safecourtkitchen.com with your order number and a short video.

Switch the blender off and let the cup cool for at least 15 minutes. Open it slowly, with the opening pointing away from your face.

Check that the blade unit is screwed on firmly and that the sealing ring is sitting properly in the blade unit. Still leaking? Email us at info@safecourtkitchen.com with your order number and a short video.

Email us at info@safecourtkitchen.com with your order number and a photo. The ring isn’t available separately.

Put warm water and a drop of washing-up liquid in the cup and let it run for a few seconds. Rinse.

The cups and the lids. Wash the blade unit by hand, with a soft brush. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth; it never goes under water.

Slow juicers

PurePress (SL-500) PurePress Pro (SL-600)
Power 200 W 600 W
Max. per use 10 minutes 20 minutes
Strainers juice filter grey (juice) and orange (sorbet)
Making sorbet no yes
Reverse (REV) yes yes

Both press slowly, so vitamins and nutrients are better preserved. All parts that come into contact with your food are made of BPA-free Tritan and stainless steel.

  • Grey strainer: juice from fruit and vegetables.
  • Orange strainer: sorbet from frozen fruit.
  1. Check that the silicone valve of the pressing chamber is closed.
  2. Put the pressing chamber on the housing.
  3. Put the auger firmly in the middle.
  4. Fit the strainer you want to use.
  5. Line up ‘a’ with ‘b’ and fit the juice housing.
  6. Put the hopper on at the open lock and turn it clockwise to the closed lock.
  7. Put the hopper lid on.

Won’t the hopper close? Then something inside isn’t right. Take everything out and assemble it again.

Use the grey strainer. Fill the hopper up to the limit line. Put the juice and pulp cups in place and keep the juice flap open. Turn the knob to ON. Done? Turn it to O.

Use the orange strainer. Let frozen fruit thaw for 10 minutes first. Add it gradually and in small portions. The sorbet comes out of the pulp outlet, so put a bowl under it. Keep the juice flap closed.

Into small pieces; hard ingredients such as carrot, ginger and celery into pieces of no more than 3 cm. Remove stones, hard peels and seeds. Soft ingredients press best together with hard ones.

Hot ingredients, sugar cane, frozen ingredients without liquid (except for sorbet with the Pro) and metal objects. Only push down with the included pusher.

Cut your fruit and vegetables into smaller pieces and add them more slowly. Switch briefly to REV (reverse) to clear a blockage. Doesn’t work? Switch it off, unplug it and take it apart.

Check that the plug is in properly, the hopper lid is closed and the hopper is fixed firmly. For safety reasons, it only starts when everything is fixed in place. If the lid opens while pressing, it stops.

Then it has been running for too long in one go and the motor is protecting itself. Unplug it and let it cool for up to 60 minutes.

Open the juice flap. Juice still not draining? Open the hopper lid and pour out the contents.

That’s normal and stops after a few seconds.

With hard vegetables such as carrot, radish or beetroot, that’s normal. Tip: peeled apples make less noise.

That’s caused by vegetables such as carrot. It’s normal and does no harm.

Press the release button first. Only then can you take the hopper off.

  • Unplug it and take it apart.
  • Rinse all parts with warm water straight after use, before the pulp dries.
  • Use the included small brush for the strainers.
  • Pull the silicone valve open to clean the pressing chamber properly. Then close it firmly again, otherwise it will leak.
  • Let everything air-dry.
  • Wipe the motor with a damp cloth. Never under water.

All parts except the motor unit, on the top rack. Rinsing straight away and the small brush work best for the strainers.

PowerOven 6-in-1

It’s an oven and air fryer in one: 12 litres, ideal for 1 to 2 people, with 1800 W, from 80 to 230 °C and a timer of up to 60 minutes. The box contains a wire rack, a frying basket, a baking tray and a crumb tray.

Function Heating Best for Accessory
Air Fry top + fan chips, snacks, vegetables frying basket
Bake top + bottom cakes, bread, oven bakes baking tray
Broil top meat, fish, gratin wire rack
Roast top + bottom chicken, potatoes, vegetables, meat baking tray
Toast top + bottom bread wire rack
Reheat top + fan leftovers, pastries wire rack

Probably not. The fan only runs with Air Fry and Reheat. With the other functions, it’s off.

Wash the rack, basket, baking tray and crumb tray. Then let it run empty for 10 minutes on Air Fry, 200 °C. A slight smell or smoke the first time is normal.

Yes, that can happen the first time. Use it a few times. Still smell it after that? Email us at info@safecourtkitchen.com.

On a flat, sturdy and heat-resistant surface, with at least 10 cm of space behind the oven and free space above and beside it. Not on wood or carpet, not in a cupboard and not under a wall cupboard.

For Bake and Roast, yes: 3 to 5 minutes. For Air Fry, it’s not necessary.

Never with Air Fry: it blocks the airflow. With Bake and Roast it’s fine, as long as it doesn’t touch the heating element and the ventilation openings stay clear.

No. Cooking spray can damage the element and the inside. Brush your food with a little oil instead.

Some guidelines:

Dish Function Temperature Time
Frozen chips Air Fry 200 °C 15–20 min
Vegetables Air Fry 180 °C 12–15 min
Chicken drumsticks Roast 190 °C 25–30 min
Pizza Bake 200 °C 8–12 min
Bread Toast 180 °C 5–7 min
Leftovers Reheat 160 °C 6–8 min

Preheat for Bake and Roast, don’t pack the food too closely together and cut it into pieces of the same size.

The timer is a wind-up timer. First turn it all the way round once, then turn it back to the time you want. Then it runs correctly.

Check that the plug is in properly and turn the timer knob: it won’t start without a time set.

The first time, that’s normal. After that, it’s usually caused by grease or food residue: clean the inside and the crumb tray.

Switch it off straight away and unplug it. Keep the door closed until the smoke is gone and let it cool. Then email us at info@safecourtkitchen.com with your order number.

Unplug it and let it cool completely. Wash the rack, basket and baking tray by hand in warm soapy water. Empty the crumb tray after every use. Wipe the inside with warm water and a little lemon juice, and the outside with a soft, damp cloth. Don’t use steel wool or abrasive cleaners.

No, wash them by hand. They’ll stay looking good for longer.

Everything supplied with the PowerOven fits, of course. Other dishes are fine too, as long as they’re oven-safe and the ventilation openings stay clear.

Pans

Ceramic Hybrid 5-ply stainless steel
Non-stick yes, ceramic coating yes, with stainless steel pattern no
Metal utensils no yes better not
Dishwasher better not yes better not
Oven (without lids) up to 220 °C up to 260 °C up to 230 °C
Induction yes yes yes

Yes, all our pans work on induction and all other hobs.

Yes, all our pans are oven-safe, without the lids. Ceramic pans can go up to 220 °C, hybrid pans up to 260 °C and stainless steel pans up to 230 °C.

No, that’s not necessary. Wash it in warm soapy water before first use and dry it well.

Low to medium. Our pans hold heat very well, so you never need high heat. On a high heat, the non-stick coating of a ceramic or hybrid pan burns, and then it no longer works. Damage from too high a heat isn’t covered by the warranty.

No more than 90 seconds on a low to medium heat, before the oil goes in. Never put an empty pan on a high heat.

One to two tablespoons of oil or butter is enough. Don’t use oil from a spray can: it leaves a layer that damages the non-stick coating.

Wood, silicone, plastic or nylon are always fine. With hybrid pans, you can also use metal. Never cut in the pan.

  • Let the pan heat up properly first: your food should sizzle when it goes in.
  • Let ingredients from the fridge come to room temperature first. Cold food sticks more easily.
  • Only add salt once the food is hot. That prevents white spots and pitting in the stainless steel.

No. Let it cool first. A sudden temperature change can warp the pan or damage the coating.

Hybrid pans can. Ceramic pans better not: the dishwasher damages the non-stick coating, and then your pan won’t last as long. Stainless steel pans are also best washed by hand. Use warm soapy water and a soft sponge.

Gently boil a layer of water with some soda crystals or washing-up liquid. Then carefully scrape it loose with a soft sponge. Afterwards, rub the pan with a thin layer of oil.

Try soda crystals or a tougher sponge with a strong cleaner.

That can happen: there’s stainless steel in it. Soak it for 10 to 15 minutes in warm soapy water and then scrub it clean.

On the hob, they stay cool with normal use. Hold the pan up to the little bump on the underside of the handle. In the oven, the handles do get hot: use a pot holder then.

Email us at info@safecourtkitchen.com with your order number and a photo. Warping is usually caused by thermal shock or too high a heat, but we always take a look.

Check the product page to see which pans are sold separately.

Bakeware

Only in the oven, up to 288 °C. Not on the hob, the barbecue or under the grill, and not in the microwave.

A little flour or a thin layer of butter or oil is enough. Baking paper is fine too. Don’t use oil from a spray can.

That’s normal. The reinforced rim makes the tin go flat again once it has cooled.

Wood, silicone, plastic or nylon. No metal, and don’t cut in the tin.

On the included cork trivets. Let the tin cool before it goes under cold water.

Put 2 tablespoons of bicarbonate of soda and a cup of vinegar in the tin. Leave it for 30 minutes, wipe it away and wash the tin.

That’s normal with regular use. Bicarbonate of soda and vinegar remove it.

Better not. Wash it by hand with a soft sponge.

Food storage & storage jars

Container Lid
Oven yes, up to 230 °C no, take it off
Microwave yes no, take it off
Freezer yes, down to −20 °C yes
Dishwasher yes no, by hand
Hob or open flame no no

Remove all lids and inserts. Put the container in a preheated oven, never empty and never under the grill.

No. Let it defrost first. Too big a jump in temperature can crack the glass.

Leave some space at the top: food expands when it freezes. Let warm food cool before putting the lid on.

By hand, in warm soapy water. Only remove the sealing ring if you want to clean it thoroughly. Then put it back properly, otherwise the lid won’t seal.

Pour a little liquid along the rim, for example water with some washing-up liquid. Then they slide apart easily. Put a cloth between them when stacking.

Email us at info@safecourtkitchen.com within 3 working days of receipt with your order number and a photo, and we’ll send a new one.

Glass breakage from a drop or thermal shock isn’t covered by the warranty. Not sure? Email a photo to info@safecourtkitchen.com, and we’ll take a look.

Check the product page for the contents of the set. Doesn’t it match what you received? Email us at info@safecourtkitchen.com with your order number and a photo.

Kettle

40, 75, 85, 95 and 100 °C. Handy for tea, coffee or baby formula.

Press start to boil water (100 °C). Want a different temperature? In standby, press the temperature button on the side until you see the right temperature, and press start within 15 seconds.

Fill it to the max line, boil the water and pour it away. Do this 1 to 2 times. Also if you haven’t used it for a long time.

Yes. When the water has reached the chosen temperature, it goes back to standby. After 5 minutes in standby, it switches off completely.

  • 40 °C flashing: the temperature sensor is disconnected.
  • 75 °C flashing: short circuit in the temperature sensor.
  • 85 °C flashing: the overheating protection has been triggered.

Unplug it and plug it back in. Does the message come back? Then stop using the kettle and email us at info@safecourtkitchen.com with your order number.

Don’t panic: it switches off by itself. Unplug it and let it cool for about 10 minutes. Don’t cool it with cold water.

Pour in 0.5 litres of white cleaning vinegar and leave it for at least 30 minutes. Pour it away and wipe out the limescale. Then boil clean water 2 to 3 times and pour it away.

Unplug it and let it cool. Wipe the outside with a wrung-out cloth. Never put it under the tap or in water.

Hand blender set

The motor unit (1000 W, 12 speeds plus turbo), a blending shaft, a whisk, a milk frother attachment, a 500 ml chopper with blade and lid, and a 600 ml blending beaker.

Not in pans with a non-stick coating: the blade scratches. Use the blending beaker or a stainless steel pan.

Yes. Use a tall pan or beaker, or work with small amounts. Keep the shaft in the soup while it’s running, otherwise it splashes.

Cut the food into small pieces and don’t overfill the bowl. Never let it run empty. Only take the lid off once the blade has stopped.

No, the chopper bowl and the blending beaker can’t go in the microwave.

Part Dishwasher
Chopper bowl and chopper blade yes, top rack
Metal part of whisk and frother yes
Blending shaft no, by hand (careful: sharp)
Whisk gearbox no, just wipe
Chopper lid no, just wipe
Motor unit no, just a damp cloth

Contact grills

It works in three ways:

  • Closed: for toasties, paninis, meat and vegetables. The top plate grills too.
  • Open at 90°: for pizza, fish or skewers.
  • Fully open (180°): as a table grill with two cooking surfaces.

3 to 8 minutes, depending on the model. The green light comes on when it’s up to temperature. If it flashes or goes off while cooking, it’s holding the temperature.

Wipe the plates and rub them with a thin layer of oil on kitchen paper. A little smoke the first time is normal.

Put down pieces of the same thickness. That way they cook at the same time.

Heat-resistant wood, plastic or silicone. No metal tongs, forks or knives: they damage the non-stick coating.

On a flat, heat-resistant surface, with 10 to 15 cm of space around it.

Unplug it and let it cool (lukewarm is easiest). Empty the drip tray after every use. Remove residue with the scraper. Wipe the base with a damp sponge and never immerse it.

Yes. On the Contact Grill Original and the Compact Grill (silver and Onyx), the plates are removable and can go in the dishwasher. On the Contact Grill Original, the drip trays and the scraper can go in too.

Coffee grinder

  1. Put the beans in the grinding bowl (up to 80 grams).
  2. Turn the bowl clockwise until it clicks.
  3. Put the lid on and click it into place.
  4. Use the timer dial to set how long it grinds. The longer, the finer.

You can stop in between to check whether the grind is right.

It only works when the grinding bowl and the lid are both firmly in place. Turn them tight again until you hear a click.

Grind for no more than 30 seconds and then let it rest for at least 1 minute. After three rounds in a row, it needs a 30-minute rest.

Only dry ingredients. Nothing wet or oily.

Unplug it. Turn the grinding bowl anticlockwise to loosen it and wash it in warm soapy water, without abrasive cleaners. Watch out for the sharp blade. Wipe the inside of the motor and the outside with a damp cloth. The motor housing must never go under water or in the dishwasher.

Cutting boards & wooden utensils

No. Wash both sides by hand in warm soapy water and let it dry upright. Don’t leave it in water: it can warp or crack.

Rub it with food-safe mineral oil once a month. Let it soak in overnight and then wipe it dry. Don’t use vegetable or nut oil: it goes rancid.

Sprinkle coarse salt on the board and rub it in with half a lemon. Let it dry and scrape it off. Or use a mixture of 1 part white vinegar and 3 parts water. Don’t use bleach or bicarbonate of soda.

No, they’re already pre-treated. Wash them by hand straight after use and don’t let them soak. Let them dry upright or dry them before putting them away.

Materials, safety & parts

Food-safe materials such as glass, stainless steel, ceramic, wood and BPA-free Tritan. All our products are free from PFAS and Teflon, BPA-free and microplastic-free.

PFAS are chemicals found in many traditional non-stick coatings. They hardly break down, in the environment and in your body. That’s why we don’t use them.

No. Our ceramic and hybrid pans have a non-stick coating without PFAS and without Teflon.

We like to keep paper to a minimum. All manuals are online: scan the QR code on the packaging or visit safecourtkitchen.com.

You’ll find some of our parts under spare parts, such as the spare glass jugs for the milk frothers. Is the part not listed? Then it isn’t sold separately. Broken within the warranty? Email us at info@safecourtkitchen.com.

Better not. Plug your appliance directly into an earthed socket.
