The Glass Kitchen Cupboard replaces all the plastic in your kitchen in one go. The 19 storage containers are for the fridge, freezer and oven. The 5 storage jars are for your dry goods. Both have glass lids too; only the seal is PFAS-free silicone. So your food never touches plastic.

Every storage container comes with a glass lid and an elastic strap.

Storage containers: borosilicate glass, oven-safe up to 200 °C, suitable for the freezer, microwave and dishwasher. The lid can go in too, as long as the vacuum tab is open.
Storage jars: borosilicate glass, 12 × 12 cm base. With the lid on in the fridge and freezer. Without the lid in the oven up to 230 °C and the microwave.

Great experience
I was looking for a milk frother without Teflon or other toxic substances that was handy, worked well, was versatile and looked nice. I found all of that at Safecourt Kitchen! PFAS are substances widely used in non-stick coatings and water-repellent materials. These ‘forever chemicals’ barely break down, stay in the environment for a long time and have been linked to diseases. So scientists and policymakers are paying more and more attention to them.

Are the lids made of glass too?

Yes—and that’s exactly the difference. With most “glass” storage containers, the lid is still made of plastic. With Safecourt, the lid is also completely made of glass, finished with a PFAS-free silicone rim. So your food only touches glass and silicone—never plastic or a coating.

Do they really seal airtight?

Yes. The glass lid has a PFAS-free silicone rim and a small tab. Press the tab down and it creates a vacuum, keeping the lid firmly in place: no leaks, even with soup or sauce in your bag. Pull the tab up and the vacuum releases, so the lid opens easily without force.

Can the containers go in the oven and microwave?

Yes. The borosilicate glass is oven-safe up to 200 °C and microwave-safe, even with the glass lid on, as long as the vacuum tab is open. So you can slide your meal straight from the fridge into the oven without transferring it. Tip: only press the tab closed once the container has cooled.

Can I put a pot straight from the freezer into the oven?

No. Let frozen contents thaw first. Too big a temperature difference can crack glass. This is called thermal shock, and that type of damage isn’t covered by the warranty. After the oven or microwave, let the jar cool down first before running cold water over it.

Will they fit in my fridge?

The 850 ml and 1600 ml jars are 8 and 15 cm tall and fit on a standard fridge shelf. The 2500 ml jar is 23 cm tall and won’t fit upright under every shelf. So measure first if you want to put that large one in the fridge.

Will they discolor or start to smell over time?

No. Where plastic containers discolor from tomato or curry and hold onto odors, borosilicate glass stays clear and odor-free. It doesn’t absorb color, smell, or taste — even after years of daily use and frequent washing.
