There are many different dishes that you may want to prepare for Christmas, and the ingredients you will need will depend on the specific recipes that you choose. Here are some ingredients that are commonly used in Christmas cooking:
1. Roast meat such as turkey, ham or roast beef
- Turkey or chicken broth
- Butter or oil for basting and seasoning
- Herbal mix or herbs such as thyme, rosemary and sage
- Onions, carrots and celery for making a traditional "filling" or "dressing"
2. Vegetables such as baked potatoes, carrots, parsnips and Brussels sprouts

3. Baked goods such as Christmas cookies and cakes

5. Drinks such as Advocaat or hot chocolate

- Sugar
- Spices such as nutmeg and cinnamon

Don’t forget to have some basic pantry essentials on hand too, like salt, pepper, and various herbs and spices. Don’t forget to plan ahead and make a grocery list to make sure you have everything you need for your Christmas cooking.
