Why I got rid of my old milk frother (and never look back)

Waarom ik mijn oude melkopschuimer de deur uit heb gedaan (en nooit meer terugkijk) - Safecourt Kitchen

I always thought I was being healthy. Smoothies, oatmeal, lots of vegetables. But when I got pregnant and started to look more into what 'healthy' really meant, I was shocked. Not by the food but by the things I used daily.

My wake-up call

It started with an article about PFAS. I vaguely knew it was 'something with chemistry,' but when I read it was linked to fertility problems and even cancer, an alarm bell went off. My non-stick milk frother? Full of Teflon. My old milk frother? Inside a plastic layer that was discolored and scratched. Yuck.

Get rid of it

I decided to do it differently. Away with the pans, the cheap kitchen stuff, the milk frother with that weird white layer. Instead, I chose glass, ceramic, and stainless steel. More sustainable, cleaner, and more beautiful.

And now?

Now I look at my kitchen with different eyes. It has become a place where I not only cook but also live consciously. And yes, sometimes it feels like a luxury to use an appliance I know is safe. Safecourt helps a lot with that: they are products you can trust, without looking like they came from a hospital.
